Jason was a marvelous tour guide! His knowledge and passion about coffee was evident from the moment we stepped foot on the beautiful property. The tour went by surprisingly quickly, thanks to the nice mix of learning and walking. And yeah, the coffee is REMARKABLY good. I would highly recommend this place, we will definitely be back next time. Thank you to the entire team at Rising Kona!

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this tour was. The tour guide Bryce was amazing. He gave us a master class in growing and roasting coffee beans. I learned so much about the process, that it blows me away that the tour is free. I would 100% recommend this tour for everyone. I also want to shout out mad props for Bryce, as he even had my 10 year old daughter engaged in the process and learning about how it all is made. Also the coffee taste AMAZING!!

A Bold, Smooth Surprise. Absolutely Exceptional Peaberry Coffee This morning I opened a bag of Rising Kona’s Peaberry Beans, ground them fresh, and brewed them in my French press. The moment I took my first sip, I was genuinely surprised, in the best way. The bold, clean flavor is something I haven’t experienced in coffee for a very long time. I love trying different coffees to explore how growers capture the character of their terrain. Rising Kona truly delivered. As I sat in my elevated home in East Falls overlooking the early-morning City of Philadelphia, this cup made the moment even better. Smooth, full-flavored, and beautifully balanced, these beans are done right. My only regret is only buying the 7-oz bag. I’ll definitely be back for more. Raymond

Amazing. Informative. Overall great experience. Jason taught us the process from growing on the plant all the way to turning into a cup of coffee. It’s evident he is very passionate about coffee and educating his guests. This was exactly what I was hoping for, visiting a coffee farm. Definitely recommend

We had a great 1 hour coffee plantation tour where we learned more about coffee growing and roasting than we ever expected. Bryce was an awesome guide the let us jump in with all our questions. AND the coffee was tasting amazing.

Highly recommend taking a tour at Kona Rising! We learned a lot about the entire process of growing, harvesting and processing coffee from Jason, the owner. We got to try some coffee before the tour began and bought a few bags at the end. Sweet shop cat as well! Really enjoyed the entire visit!

We arrived to Kona Coffee Farms and BRYCE was the best tour guide we could have asked for. The whole experience with him was great he is extremely knowledgeable about not only coffee but the whole agriculture on the farm as a whole we he made us feel at home and like we were coffee roasters for the day. Make sure to book a tour with Bryce if you want the best experience at any of the coffee farms! Thank you Bryce! The tour is free everyone!

My husband and I really enjoyed the tour of the Rising Kona coffee farm. It is best to book ahead as you need a gate code to enter the area. The story behind how the farm came to be was so interesting. The coffee is excellent! We bought bags to bring home as Christmas gifts!

The staff were super friendly. We arrived a little bit earlier, and they made us Kona coffee. The view from the farm was beautiful. We learnt a lot of knowledge about what kind of geographical environment where kona coffee grows, how to select high-quality coffee beans, and how to roast them. The tour is definitely impressive!

Such A fascinating tour it’s interesting to learn about coffee and the owner of Kona. Coffee is such a young man that he initially came here just to purchase the land that ended up with a coffee trees. We totally enjoy this tour and recommend to anybody who is interested in knowing how coffee is grown.

The tour started with delicious coffee and our tour guide, Ann Shirley, was incredibly welcoming and the tour she gave was educational. Learned a few new things even after two other coffee tours! And the view from the property is amazing!

A nice small farm on the Kona mountainside. My tour started on the balcony lookout, which has the best views of the farm, hillside, and tree canopies. This is pictureville for the paparazzi. Here we learned about the history of Kona coffee and it’s ties to the area. After a tasting, we then walked down to the orchard to pick some coffee cherries and eat and dissect them. Loved the farm and its vibe. It was specially nice to see the difference between those grown fully shaded and those grown in light. The photo added shows the dark color of the shaded plants. We had such a great time at Rising Kona Coffee! We brought our 4- and 7-year-old kids and the team did an awesome job keeping them interested and involved. You can really feel how much they love what they do and how much respect they have for the land and the coffee-making process. We learned a ton about why Kona coffee is so special. Super welcoming vibe — definitely recommend this tour!

Fantastic Kona coffee experiences and grounds tour. Initially booked the Coffee Bean Roasting class, but ended up doing the site tour and also their coffee brewing class. We love coffee, but other than using our drip coffee maker and expresso machine, we had little exposure to the front end of growing and processing coffee beans, and other methods of brewing. For the roasting class we roasted beans and took samples all during the processing, from raw beans to burnt, over roasted beans. We got to see visually what beans that are a roasted light, medium, and dark roasted (plus the roasts in between). We liked the Medium (a little on the light side) roast and made up our own 12 oz. custom roasted Kona Estate coffee. For the brewing class we brewed and sampled Kona coffee brewed by French Press, Drip, and Pour Over. Highly recommend all 3 tours / experiences!

Who would of known that there was so much to learn about coffee and its complexity! This is a small farm and one of many to choose from. With all the free tours on the island we were very happy to have chosen them. You'll have a beautiful view of the ocean from the lanai. Our guide was so sweet and down to earth. Her love for what she does shines thru. ( from Cali ) we came home with some peaberry coffee beans we are looking forward to a cold winters morning by the fire and enjoying every last sip!

Easily one of the best things to do on the island. The tour was exceptional and Anne, our guide, was excellent and we learned so much. They let you pick one coffee cherry yourself and replant it ❤️ The farm itself is super cute and the views are amazing.
